How To Clean Your Makeup & Makeup Brushes

Guys, I cannot emphasize enough on the importance of cleaning your makeup brushes. Clean them as often as possible to avoid dust, dirt, makeup and bacteria from building up. It’s unhygienic to not clean your brushes and the skin on the face is one of the most sensitive parts of your body and you don’t want to break out! 😱🚫❌

So here is a quick how-to post for your Makeup and Makeup Brushes! πŸ–Œ

For your makeup:

  1. Get a bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol from your local Chemist. Very easily available, it is also super cheap, mostly less than a 100 bucks. βš—πŸ’Έ
  2. Dip a clean cotton cloth in some of the alcohol and wipe the top of your makeup, be it blush, bronzer, shadows, lipstick etc. Another way is to fill in the Isopropyl Alcohol in a spray bottle, and spritz on your makeup and wipe with a clean dry tissue. βœ…

For your makeup brushes:

  1. I clean my brushes with Johnson’s Baby shampoo and luke warm water. πŸ‘ΆπŸΌ
  2. I then dip them in Isopropyl Alcohol and leave them to dry on a clean handtowel by laying them flat. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
  3. This cleans, sanitizes and disinfects your brushes. #factfriday πŸ”πŸ“πŸ€“
